To play Blu-ray disc, you need the right gear no matter you intend to view your discs on computer, or on your HDTV with Blu-ray player. For computer playback, we can play Blu-ray disc with software like CyberLink PowerDVD with Blu-ray drive. At the meantime, you can copy the Blu-ray content to DVD media, then you can play them back in an ordinary DVD drive which is standard configuration for each computer. While Blu-ray authoring and playback are still a bit of a minefield, the right tools and hardware can greatly ease your way through, and save you huge amounts of aggravation and encoding time.
Here is a tutorial to show you the way to copy Blu ray disc content to DVD.
Click the drop down button of "Source", choose your Blu ray drive which you have inserted your Blu ray disc. You can import Blu ray folder as well.
Step2. Select Target
Click the drop down box of "Target" and select "DVD disc". Only when your computer has DVD drive, you could see the DVD disc option.
Step3. Do some choices.
Choose Disc Type, Copy Mode, and input your desired Disc Label. "Disc Type" including BD, DVD-5, DVD-9, etc. and "Copy Mode" for Full, Main, or Custom Movie content copy. Only when you choose Main Movie or Custom Movie in Copy Mode, you would be able to set audio and subtitle options by clicking "More".
